Mission Statement

Valley Youth Hockey Association (VYHA) is the governing body for youth hockey in Roanoke, Virginia. We provide an environment in which youth from age 5 through 18 can play competitive ice hockey.  Scholarship Funds are available for families desiring participation in our youth hockey program, but needing financial assistance to do so.  Download a Scholarship Application. 

Board of Directors

VYHA is governed by a 15 member board of directors. This group coordinates all of the activities necessary for successful operation in all youth hockey classifications that participate in this association. The board meets monthly on the second Tuesday and all meetings are open to the public. Word documents containing minutes from recent VYHA board meetings are available here for download and review.
