The Valley Youth Hockey Association (VYHA) is the governing body for youth hockey in Roanoke, Virginia. We provide an environment in which youth from age 5 through 18 can play competitive ice hockey.  The 2010-2011 hockey season will operate September 1, 2010 through August 31, 2011.  General Registration for the 2010-2011 season is now available.  Please see the Registration page for details.  On-ice activities for the 2010-2011 season will start in September.  Please check back with this website throughout the season as these pages are updated regularly and are designed to help players, parents, and community supporters of VYHA retrieve the information they need for a successful hockey season.

VYHA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association that has been in existence since the 1960's. Scholarship money is available to help those that demonstrate need.

For those that have never played, ice hockey is the world's fastest team sport. All players in VYHA will get a large amount of ice time, and can expect to share similar amounts of ice time with all players.
